Welcome to the Innovations in Newborn Screening Interoperability (INBSI) Resource Center.  The Resource Center was established for states, territories, and the District of Columbia newborn screening (NBS) programs to learn, collaborate and advance interoperability within the newborn screening community to ultimately aid in the reduction of morbidity and mortality associated with heritable disorders in newborns and children. 

Members of the Resource Center receive a host of services including, technical assistance, training, and education on health information data interoperability from real-world subject matter experts at no cost.

Services Provided

The INBSI is actively recruiting the second cohort of state and territorial newborn screening programs to advance electronic data exchange. Applications are open now and maybe submitted online at our website or via email to nbsinterop@altarum.org.
